Ubisoft announced that the company would have a unique employee in charge of internal culture — Anika Grant, who previously held senior HR positions at Uber and Dyson.

Anika Grant is a new Chief People Officer and will report to CEO Yves Guillemot and be tasked with recruiting talent management and leadership development. She will take over the HR department's reorganization and create a corporate culture based on respect and the well-being of all employees.

Guillemot said that Anika's energy, optimism, and vast experience would be valuable assets to further develop Ubisoft's human resources management approach. Anika's mission will be to bring all of Ubisoft's HR teams together with a strong, shared vision and build a robust talent portfolio by implementing innovative working methods.

The new position resulted from changes in the company's approaches to working with personnel - earlier in Ubisoft, a scandal broke out about some of the company's employees' inappropriate behavior and sexism.

Several vital employees lost their posts at once: Ubisoft's creative director and two other senior executives.
