Amazon's New World debuted on September 28 but has already lost about 600,000 simultaneous players or nearly 70% of its players over a month. On September 30, the peak number of concurrent players exceeded 913,000 users. Thus, the number fell from an average of 900,000 players at the end of September to an average of 300,000.

New World has been the most played game on Steam for a while, but now it's in 4th place.

One of the reasons why so many players leave the game may be its monotony and lack of new content. Another factor is that players are tired of random bans and bots, as well as various bugs.

The developers are trying to keep players interested by introducing various events but to no avail. They are now more focused on the technical part of the project and seem to have little time for creating new content.
