American Pharmaceutical Company MSD Exits Russia
The American pharmaceutical company MSD has left the Russian market. MSD was a supplier of one of the most sought-after medications for treating hepatitis C in Russia – Zepatier.
Reports from Russian media confirm that MSD has announced the cessation of supplies of Zepatier in Russia, which is one of the most in-demand and accessible drugs for treating hepatitis C. Currently, there are no analogs of this drug available in Russia.
The company has also stopped supplying an HIV drug – raltegravir.
