Apple Plans to Abandon Its Headquarters in Russia
Apple refuses to rent a Russian office near the Kremlin. Two sources in the commercial real estate market told RBK.
Apple first rented 3.5 thousand square meters in Romanov Dvor business center five years ago and then increased the area to 4.7 thousand square meters.
According to one of RBK's sources, this office was not used to the full extent when the pandemic began. It was decided to terminate the lease after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia in September. Now the company is negotiating the terms of the contract termination, another source specifies.
