On January 27, Bethesda held a presentation on the Gates of Oblivion adventure for The Elder Scrolls Online. Now the details of the game are known, and a trailer has been released.

Thanks to new game details, we know that players will be transported back in time, 800 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. They have to find out what prince Mehrunes Dagon is planning.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion will be released in parts. Flames of Ambition will be released on March 8 for PC/Mac and Stadia, and on March 16 on consoles. The chapter Blackwood will be released on June 1 for PC and June 8 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Release dates for two more add-ons have not yet been announced.

With the Blackwood update, players will have more than 30 hours of the main storyline and the opportunity to explore a region of Tamriel where the diverse culture of the Argonians meets with Imperial ambitions. The chapter will also introduce a new companions system, a new 12-player Trial: Rockgrove, new world events: Oblivion Portals, public dungeons, and more.
