U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said that President Joe Biden's administration is working to isolate Russia at the United Nations, Bloomberg reports.
In particular, the U.S. Ambassador to the UN expressed disappointment that Russia and China's veto in the Security Council is blocking the resolution of the war in Ukraine.
As a result, the Security Council's work on resolving issues in Ukraine, Iran, and other countries has virtually stopped, given the split that has emerged among veto-holding members: The United States, the United Kingdom, and France on the one hand, and China and Russia on the other.
