Blizzard and Epic Games Veterans Launched a New Studio Lightforge Games
Veterans of gaming companies Blizzard and Epic Games have announced the creation of a new studio, Lightforge Games. The company was founded back in 2020, but earlier, it only hired employees, but now it has stepped out of the shadows. The team intends to combine classic RPGs with board games and platform games.

According to the statement, Matt Shembari, who worked as an engineer at Epic Games for eight years and at Blizzard for five years, became the head of Lightforge Games. The team also included other veterans of these studios: artists, programmers, producers, and a marketing director.
The founders intend to change the approach to role-playing games, but the details of the debut project are not yet available. The studio is completely remote, and all employees can work from anywhere in the world. The executives believe that relocation negatively affects productivity.
