Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz agreed to work together on strengthening Russia's economic isolation during their recent conversation. This was reported on the website of the Government of Canada.

As a result of the conversation, "the leaders agreed to maintain close alignment and coordination to continue supporting Ukraine and further isolate Russia economically."
