Canada Imposes Additional Sanctions Against Russia
The Canadian government has adopted a new package of sanctions against Russia, which includes a ban on the export of certain advanced technologies that could improve Russia's domestic defense manufacturing capability.
This includes quantum computers, advanced manufacturing equipment, related components, materials and software. A corresponding statement has been published on the website of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's office.
Also, the ban on exports of advanced technology and goods that could be used in the manufacturing of weapons applies to Belarus.
