New York-based law firm Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz filed a class-action lawsuit against CD Projekt over Cyberpunk 2077 not ready to launch. The plaintiffs are investors of CD Projekt.
It is the fourth lawsuit against the Polish game studio. Earlier, Rosen Law company from New York filed a lawsuit against CD Projekt for lying about the game's quality of the console versions.
Since June 2019, the studio has repeatedly said that they would pay attention, especially for PS4 and Xbox One versions. However, on the release, it turned out that Cyberpunk 2077 was unplayable on these versions, which caused a huge scandal.
This time, just like last time, the developers are accused of distorting the game's readiness facts. It led to a tarnished studio reputation as well as refunds to users.
Sony previously created a dedicated page on the PS Store where users can request a refund for Cyberpunk 2077. Besides, the game has already been removed from the platform.
CD Projekt refrained from commenting and assured that they would defend their rights to the end.
