Chinese automaker Chery will not produce cars at the site of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) in Russia because of sanctions. This was reported by Vedomosti.

In July, the share of Chinese cars on the Russian market exceeded 24%, with Chery being the most popular among Russian citizens.
