French chain of sports shops Decathlon is selling its Russian assets. This was reported by Russian media Kommersant, citing RBC.
Decathlon had a total of 57 shops in Russia, all of which have been closed – the brand suspended operations in Russia from 27 June: both shops and website sales were closed.
In March, Decathlon announced a temporary suspension of operations in Russia: the company promised to continue supporting 2,500 employees in Russia.
