EA Games Shares Details of Battlefield 6 Release

Battlefield's fans, rejoice!
After the longest gap between games in the series' history, EA announced Battlefield 6 would be revealed this spring. The developers promise to use all the available capabilities of the next-gen consoles.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson also said that the "next Battlefield experience" would be released this fall.

The company seriously "takes full advantage of the power of next-generation platforms to bring massive and immersive battles to life with more players than ever before," says Andrew Wilson.

"Featuring maps with unprecedented scale, the next Battlefield takes all the destruction, player agency, vehicle, and weapon combat that the franchise is known for, and elevates it to the next level," EA CEO added.

It also seems that the setting will be brought back to modern times.

A specific release date has not yet been announced in EA. It remains to wait for more detailed announcements soon.
