European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has already welcomed the political agreement on Twitter. She emphasized that this European instrument will limit Russia's ability to receive sanctioned goods.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the European Union has introduced 10 packages of sanctions in response.
