The European Union plans to impose sanctions against several Chinese companies as part of the fight against companies supplying Russia with banned goods and technology that support its war machine. This is reported by Financial Times.
Seven Chinese companies accused of supplying Russia with equipment that can be used in weapons ended up in a new sanctions package.
According to Financial Times, the sanctions list includes two companies from mainland China, 3HC Semiconductors and King-Pai Technology, as well as five other companies, including Sinno Electronics, Sigma Technology, Asia Pacific Links, Tordan Industry, and Alpha Trading Investments.
The list will need to get unanimous approval from the 27 European Union member states before taking effect.
