The European Council has decided to prolong individual measures targeting those responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for six more months. This was reported on the website of the EU Council.
"The Council decided today to prolong the restrictive measures targeting those responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for another six months, until 15 September 2023," the report says.
The sanctions include travel restrictions for natural persons, the freezing of assets, and a ban on making funds or other economic resources available to the listed entities or individuals. The restrictions have already affected 1,473 individuals and 205 entities.
