While gamers are waiting for big releases, February 2021 offers a couple of re-releases, an action RPG about a werewolf, a horror platformer, a Japanese RPG, and a "medieval GTA."

Here is the schedule for February:

February 4
Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood
Action with RPG elements in which gamers have to play as a werewolf named Cahal. The main character's abilities are central to the gameplay of Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. Three forms are available to Cahal: in the form of a human, he communicates with other people; in the form of a wolf, he sneaks past enemies, and in the form of a huge beast, he fights with opponents when the battle can no longer be avoided.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse takes place in a modern world full of mysticism. So, the main villain is the powerful Pentex corporation, which causes pollution and environmental problems, which serves the powerful Wyrm who wants to ruin the Earth. Cahal will have to deal with this monster.

The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X.

February 5
Nioh 2 — The Complete Edition
Reissue of Nioh 2, which will include all the additions in addition to the main game. The game will debut on PC in February. An updated version of the game will be released on PS5 with support for high resolutions and DualSense controller capabilities.

Nioh 2 is a hardcore third-person action game with RPG elements. However, it is much more important that Team Ninja studio has competently combined ideas from the Dark Souls series and its own Ninja Gaiden mechanics.

The game is available on PC, PS5.

February 11
Little Nightmares 2
The puzzle-platformer horror adventure game, dedicated to a girl's adventures in a yellow raincoat, found herself on a creepy vessel full of monsters. In the second part, this girl is only one of the main characters. The second part is dedicated to a mysterious boy.

The characters will interact to solve puzzles and escape opponents; however, Little Nightmares 2 does not have a co-op. While the player controls one hero, the girl remains under the control of the AI.

Little Nightmares 2 is a much more scary game than the first part.

The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S | X, Switch.

February 12
Super Mario 3D World + Bowserʼs Fury
The main game, Super Mario 3D World, is a re-release of the co-op 3D platformer about Mario and Friends, first released on Wii U in 2013. The plot is as usual: Bowser kidnapped ... no, this time he kidnapped not Princess Peach, but fairies, who are to be rescued. And to succeed, Mario has everything he needs - bonuses that allow the hero to become huge or shoot fireballs.

Bowser's Fury is a Switch-exclusive adventure that will be sold alongside the main game. The events in it take place in an open world, and the gameplay mechanics recall Super Mario Odyssey - unless there will be a hat that allows you to control any creature.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowserʼs Fury will be available on Switch.

February 18
Rustler
The Rustler developers do not hide that they were inspired by the early parts of GTA when developing their game. The same top view, the same bandit as the main character, the same open world as the main setting. Only here the events of Rustler take place in the Middle Ages.

The main character will have to face the Inquisition, witch hunters, and brave but very stupid knights, as the authors themselves say. Many popular culture references are in place: you can at least fight the Black Knight, obviously referring to Monty Python.

Rustler will be available on PC.

February 23
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers
The next part of Persona 5 is a crossover between Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors franchise and Atlus's 2016 role-playing game Persona 5.
However, the new game will not be called a hack and slash game alone - there will be a place for RPG elements from the original source.

The game will be available on PC, PS4, Switch.
