Finland Has Already Found a Replacement for Russia
Finland has completed negotiations with the American company Excelerate Energy on the lease of an LNG terminal vessel for 10 years.
The Exemplar LNG terminal vessel for 68 thousand tons of LNG (94 million cubic meters of gas) will be moored off the coast of Finland or Estonia, depending on who builds the receiving infrastructure first. If it is Estonia, it will temporarily host it, then give it back and moor another ship. It will be used for LNG storage as an offshore import terminal, allowing Finland and Estonia to stop all natural gas imports from Russia.
