German software developer SAP is definitively discontinuing support for its solutions in Russia by the end of 2023, as reported by Kommersant, citing a letter from the company to its Russian partners.
In the letter, SAP indicated that it would cut off support for its software by December 31, 2023. The use of cloud services will be the only option available until the expiry of existing contract terms.
According to experts, a complete replacement for SAP appears challenging at present, as the company's solutions are integral to the functioning of enterprise core systems, and there are no comprehensive alternatives available.
