Ghostrunner Is Nominated for the Prestigious Polityka's Passport Cultural Award
One of Poland's biggest-selling newsmagazine, Polityka, has announced the next nominees for its own cultural award.
Polityka's Passport is a prestigious annual Polish cultural award for the best achievements in literature, film, theatre, classical music, popular music, visual arts, and the creator of culture.
Traditionally, the latter category includes games. In 2020, according to the organizers, the studios: Different Tales, One More Level, and Ovid Works performed best. These studios became nominees for the Polityka's Passport.
Polish development studio One More Level gained a nomination for the release of the cyberpunk action video game Ghostrunner, which competes with high-budget projects through the skillful use of stylization.
An independent video game studio from Warsaw, Ovid Works, has released the Metamorphosis adventure game that perfectly captures the spirit of Kafka's creativity.
And Different Tales studio told about Belovezhskaya Pushcha in the visual novel role-playing video game Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest.
