The creators of Gotham Knights, WB Games Montréal, have announced that they have postponed the game's release to 2022. It was originally set to release this year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.

The developers give the game more time to deliver players the best possible gaming experience. They thanked fans for their fantastic support and promised to share the Gotham Knights news in the coming months.

According to the plot of Gotham Knights, Batman allegedly dies after the explosion of a Batcave. In his place are new heroes: Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin. They will have to face the influential secret crime organization, the Court of Owls, which controlled the city's life and other enemies.
