British Greenpeace activists prevented the Andromeda tanker carrying presumably 33,000 tons of Russian diesel fuel from docking in Essex, the organization reported. According to them, activists occupied the jetty where the tanker was due to arrive, preventing it from docking. The tanker turned around and is now anchored near Margate.
The tanker was carrying fuel worth £30 million.
