After unveiling Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Rockstar Games removed the original trilogy from sale. However, after players complained about the disastrous state of the remastered games, which turned out to be practically unplayable because of bugs and crashes, the company apologized and promised to return the iconic trilogy to the Rockstar Store as a bundle.

Rockstar Games has officially announced that the classic versions of GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas are now available in the Rockstar Games Launcher to all PC players who purchased Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

In the future, the company plans to return the original games on sale, but only as a bundle and only in the official Rockstar Store.

Moreover, you can also get a free bundle of the original trilogy if you purchase The Definitive Edition by July 1, 2022. This will automatically give you access to classic games.

Unfortunately, the promotion is only valid for PCs. Owners of the console versions of the trilogy will not get a free copy of the original games.
