Bloodborne is rumored to be one of the next franchises to be produced by HBO and Sony, both of which are currently engaged in a series based on the game The Last of Us.
It is reported that Bloodborne will be a miniseries and that it already has an early version of the script along with some concept art. The story will be similar to the movies Dread or The Raid, where the main character will be presented with a seemingly simple task, but then will have to go through a series of battles with enemies.
It is rumored that at the end of each episode of the 8-episode season, the protagonist will fight a boss from the game.
There is no casting news yet, but the studio is said to be looking for a lead actor with extensive stunt experience.
