Henkel Announces the Sale of Its Business in Russia

Henkel, a well-known producer of household and personal care products, is selling its business in Russia to a local consortium. The consortium buying Henkel’s business in Russia includes Augment Investments, Kismet Capital Group, and Elbrus Services.

The agreed purchase price is 54 billion rubles, which corresponds to about 600 million euros. The corresponding Russian authorities have already approved the transaction. The deal has not been closed yet.

The concern announced its decision to withdraw from Russia back in April 2022.
