In late June, insider Tom Henderson shared rumors about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI game. Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier confirmed these rumors. Answering a question from one of the Twitter users, he said that this information coincides with the data from his sources. He also added that GTA VI was initially going to be released in 2023, but the plans changed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the latest reports, the actions of GTA VI will take place in modern Vice City. Initially, the map will be smaller than many expect, but it will expand as more expansions are released – this is necessary for the convenience of working with GTA Online.
Also, according to reports, players will have access to several characters to play for, with one of these characters being female.
The game is currently in the early stages of development. It is planned to be released in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
So far, all these data have not been officially confirmed. Insiders admit that everything can change by 2024. By the way, both sources believe that Rockstar has decided to sacrifice release speed in order to create a better working environment for employees.
