Japan Imposed New Sanctions Against Russia and Belarus

The Japanese authorities put 57 Russian citizens and five individuals on the sanctions list. In addition, they imposed an export ban on 65 Russian companies and 25 companies from Belarus.

The sanctions also include an embargo on gold imports and a ban on providing accounting, auditing, consulting and trust services to Russia.

A total of about 800 citizens of Russia, Belarus, representatives of LPR and DPR, as well as about 300 Russian companies and organizations have already fallen under Japanese sanctions.
