Japanese tyremaker Bridgestone plans to sell its Russian assets. The company intends to leave the Russian market within a few months. This was announced in a press release of the company.

The Japanese company stopped the plant in Ulyanovsk in March. The decision was made due to disruptions in the supply chain and logistics.

Bridgestone expects that the transfer of assets to new owners will take several months.
