Laptop Shipments to Russia Decreased by 65%

As Kommersant wrote with reference to GS Group analytical center data, from January to November, 65% less laptops in units (up to 2.76 million devices) were imported into Russia than during the same period in 2021.

Brands HP, Lenovo (shared 15%), Acer (10% instead of 12% a year ago) and Asus (8% instead of 14% a year ago) retained their leading market positions thanks to parallel imports, among other things, but their shares noticeably decreased.

Huawei (from 3% a year earlier to 14%), Honor and MSI (from 2% to 11%), as well as new brands like TECNO, Infinix and Realme began to actively increase shipments and sales.

Experts believe that in 2023, vendors will continue to strengthen their current growing positions.
