The Latvian government is planning to extend the previously imposed restrictions on the entry of Russian citizens into Latvia, Delfi reports.

The restrictions will be extended until March 4, 2024.

Currently, the order imposing the restrictions until June 30 is in effect. Accordingly, in order to ensure that the order is in force continuously, amendments are being made to the regulations.

Latvia restricted the entry of Russian citizens into the country back in 2022 due to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
