Latvian Parliament Bans Russian Gas Supplies from January 2023

On July 14, Latvian Seimas finally adopted amendments to the Energy Law, which introduces a ban on natural gas supplies from Russia from January 1, 2023. This is stated on the website of the Parliament.

The document also provides creation of strategic gas reserves in the country.
