Lithuanian Post Has Suspended the Delivery of Parcels to Russia

Due to the new requirements for shipments to the Russian Federation related to international sanctions, Lithuanian Post has temporarily suspended the delivery of parcels with goods to Russia.

New requirements for such parcels are set by the Latvian Post. Until now, parcels from Lithuania to Russia have been delivered through Latvia in transit.

Latvian Post reported that in order to properly comply with the requirements of the European Union’s sanctions against Russia, it will no longer accept mail containing items unless additional data describing the category of the shipment is provided.
