German automobile giants Mercedes-Benz and BMW have taken the drastic step of completely cutting off their Russian dealers from accessing their software. Izvestia reports this development, citing the press service of Mercedes-Benz's distributor in Russia, "MB RUS."
The Russian Automobile Dealers Association has confirmed the disruption in accessing the software. This includes the termination of access to online systems essential for technical maintenance and problem identification.
