Moldovan President Maia Sandu signed a law blocking Russian propaganda. The law provides for a ban on news and analytical content from countries that have not ratified the Convention on Transborder Television. Russia is one such country.
Russian political and military news in Moldova since the beginning of the war in Ukraine have been banned by the decision of the Emergency Situations Commission. With the adoption of the law, this ban becomes indefinite.
