MTS and Skoltech Are Excluded From the OpenRAN Alliance

Russian Skoltech and MTS have been excluded from the international 5G alliance OpenRAN (Radio Access Network), which develops equipment for 5G networks. Mentions of Russian companies have been removed from the alliance's official website, Russian media report.

OpenRAN was established in 2018 to jointly develop equipment for 5G and subsequent generations of communications based on an open architecture.
