Netflix Is Testing Its Gaming Service in Poland

Netflix has begun testing its games section, but so far only in Poland for all Android users. At the moment, there are only two games available: Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3. Of course, this is just the beginning as part of testing. The streaming service will later add more titles to its gaming division.

The tweet reads, “Today, members in Poland can try Netflix mobile gaming on Android with two games, Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3. It’s very, very early days, and we’ve got a lot of work to do in the months ahead, but this is the first step.”

It is assumed that soon Netflix users from other countries will have access to Netflix Gaming, too. This information is to be announced soon.

Mike Verdu, former Facebook/Oculus and EA game development leader, is in charge of developing the gaming section of Netflix.

Previously, the service emphasized that there would be no ads or microtransactions in games. To access the titles, you will need to buy a subscription. The launch of the service is likely to start in 2022.
