In collaboration with basketball player Paul George, Sports brand Nike has announced the release date of the joint sneaker inspired by PlayStation 5. The release is scheduled for May 14. The model will go on sale in a limited edition.

The pair of sneakers is designed in the colors of the new Sony console, with PG 5 branding on the heel and PS5 branding on the outsole. Yujin Morisawa, the artist who was responsible for the design of the console, worked with designer Tony Hardman to combine the best of both worlds. In addition, the main part of the sneakers features the proprietary system controls – a square, a cross, a circle, and a triangle. There are similar controls on the DualSense controllers themselves.

“I love the clean, white design that matches the look of the PS5. It’s super fresh. And the tiny PlayStation shapes along the leather on each shoe that match the DualSense controller. The detail is just amazing,” Paul George commented.
