Nokia and Ericsson's Exit from Russia Will Lead to Problems with Mobile and Internet Services

Users in Russia could soon face a drop in mobile Internet speed and problems with connections during calls.

According to Reuters, after Nokia and Ericsson leave the Russian market, operators will not be able to update software and repair equipment with original spare parts.

The two companies account for about 50% of base stations in Russia and manufacture antennas, fiber-optic equipment and other telecommunications equipment.
