Equinor announced that it has withdrawn from all joint ventures with Russia, the statement from May 25 notes.
Since February 27, 2022 Equinor stopped all new investments in Russia, stopped trading oil and gas products from Russia and announced an impairment of $1.08 billion on its balance sheet as of March 31, 2022.
Equinor transferred its interest in four Russian joint ventures to Rosneft and is released from all future liabilities.
