Pentagon: provision of air defense systems may become an alternative to the transfer of Polish MiG-29s to Ukraine

The USA believes that the planes from Warsaw will not significantly change the efficiency of the Ukrainian Air Force. They also believe that Russia might perceive the transfer of the planes to Ukraine as a step towards escalation of the situation.
