Poland and Baltic States Agree on Conditions for Closing Belarus Border
In a meeting held in Warsaw, the heads of the Interior Ministries of Poland and the Baltic States reached an agreement on the conditions under which they would consider closing their borders with Belarus, as reported by RMF24.
There are two criteria for making such a decision:
- Armed incidents or incidents occurring at the border of any of the countries that pose a threat to national security.
- Organized mass illegal migration breaches.
It is explained that if one of these incidents is documented, the respective services will promptly exchange information and make a decision on border closure at the governmental level.
