PKN Orlen, the Polish oil and gas company, has terminated its last contract with Russia’s Tatneft without paying any penalties, Reuters reported.

Moscow stopped supplying oil to Poland via the Druzhba pipeline in February after Warsaw delivered the first Leopard tanks to Kyiv.

Poland was supposed to stop using Russian oil by the end of 2022. And in 2024, PKN’s agreement with Tatneft was supposed to expire.
