Insider Navtra, who successfully predicted the announcements of Sony's presentations last year, shared a couple of news about the re-releases of Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part II.

Kojima Productions plans to release an extended version of Death Stranding for PS5 and PS4 with new story content. Simultaneously, the extended version of the game is so significant that the original version owners have to repurchase the game if they want to try the innovations.

"Even if there's an upgrade path, I think it will be paid since there's new story content in this version," Navtra said.

Besides, the blogger heard that Naughty Dog was working on improvements to The Last of Us: Part II for the PlayStation 5, but now he cannot say for sure about the project's status. Perhaps the upgrade was canceled, or its release is going to coincide with something.

Also, according to rumors, a PS5 version of the Final Fantasy VII remake will be presented in February. Perhaps at the same time, Sony will present the nextgen versions of Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part II.
