Russia and Belarus Will No Longer Be Allowed to Participate in the International Union of Railways

Russia and Belarus were banned from the International Union of Railways (UIC). The decision was made by the UIC General Assembly.

On March 4, the UIC suspended the Russian Federation and Belarus from participation in the organization. The decision was made after the Ministry of Infrastructure sent official letters to 11 of the largest and most influential organizations in the world on March 2.
