Russia has finally lost its seat on the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). This was reported by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yulia Kovaliv.
According to her, this is the first precedent among all UN organizations when Russia was completely expelled from the governing body.
The decision reflects Western countries’ desire to hold Russia accountable for the war in Ukraine.
