The Russian Federation has been deprived of the right to host the World Aquatics Championships to be held in 2025, The Guardian reported.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) asked sports governing bodies not to hold events in Russia after Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
As a result, Singapore was granted the right to host the World Aquatics Championships in 2025 instead of Russia’s Kazan.
