Russian Car Market Has Declined by 60% in September

In September, the car market of the Russian Federation has decreased by almost 60%. The sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia fell by 59.6%, to 46.7 thousand units. The majority of foreign brands are simply not replenishing their warehouses.

Lada is the most popular car brand of the market in September with over 20 thousand units sold.

After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, foreign carmakers began stopping or suspending production in Russia.
