Last summer, the creators of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 unexpectedly showed the shooter's debut trailer and confirmed that the project would be exclusively launched only for Xbox Series and P.C.

GSC Game World hasn't confirmed any other game platforms, but the game will appear on at least some more systems, presumably on the PlayStation 5.

Due to the scandal with the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077, which is practically unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One, many began to worry that the same thing would happen with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

Therefore S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will not be released for the outgoing generation consoles, and the shooter is now slated for release only for Xbox Series X, S, and P.C.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 didn't announce the official release date and in which stores for the P.C. the shooter will be sold. Users assumed that GSC might have a contract with Epic Games, and at first, the game will be sold only in E.G.S., but it is just rumors.
