Sony Has Removed Cyberpunk 2077 From the PS Store
Sony has created a special page on the PS Store, Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds, where users can request a refund for Cyberpunk 2077 game. Besides, the game has already been removed from the platform.
As CD Projekt RED stated, this decision was made after a discussion with Sony developers. Gamers who are glad about everything and will not issue a refund will continue to receive full support with all patches and updates.
Earlier, CD Project RED apologized on Twitter to gamers because of the low quality of the recently released Cyberpunk 2077 game.
It is currently unknown whether the game will return to the PS Store. Most likely, it all depends on the latest bug fix patch that CDPR promised to release in 2020. It was an unprecedented case when the decision to withdraw a game from the sale was made not by the developer but by the platform owner.
Whether Microsoft will follow Sony is unclear. On consoles, the game works stably only on PS5, Series X, and Series S; however, on previous generations, there are drawdowns up to 10-15 FPS, crashes, and other critical problems.
