On November 27, Steam hit a new record of concurrent users on its platform – their number reached 27.1 million users, 7.8 million of which were in-game at that point.
This was reported by SteamDB, a third-party tracker that monitors Steam's statistics. The graph shows 27,182,165 simultaneous players on November 27. The online peak was probably caused by autumn discounts on 47 thousand games, apps, and add-ons.
At that time, the five most-played games included Dota 2, Apex Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, New World, and PUBG: Battlegrounds.
The previous record was set in April this year with 26.9 simultaneous users on Steam.
